AAV, AFV cooperate effectively for poverty reduction and development

From October 29 to November 1, in Cao Bang City, ActionAid Vietnam (AAV) in cooperation with the Aid for social protection program Foundation Vietnam (AFV) and Local Rights Programs held the 2018 Annual Partnership Meeting.

This is an annual event between AAV, AFV and provincial and district partners from 11 provinces across the country, to provide opportunities for sharing information, enhancing dialogue and improving the quality of management of local development projects and programs with partners.

This year, in addition to the usual management issues, AAV and its partners focused on a number of new content, including successful livelihoods models of the Local Right Program (LRP).

This forum also discussed and shared on the achievements and experiences of the LRP's program activities as well as the support AAV/AFV provided to implement the program priorities.

Founded in the United Kingdom in 1972, ActionAid (AAI) is a unique international organization, working with over 25 million people in more than 40 countries for a world free from poverty and injustice.

ActionAid started working in Vietnam since 1989, established its Representative Office in Hanoi in 1992. Since then, it has been focusing the work to end poverty and promote sustainable development in mountainous, remote and difficult regions as well as poor urban areas across Vietnam. ActionAid works in partnership with local partners in different provinces and applies Human Rights Based Approach to its entire works./.
