Viet Nam is committed to deepening cooperation with partners, engaging in shaping multilateral institutions and mobilising external resources in support of domestic priorities, contributing to a rules-based international order built on equality and mutual respect.
Viet Nam-EU trade has nearly tripled within a decade, reaching 67 billion EUR in 2024, despite a turbulent geopolitical environment. Viet Nam is now the EU’s largest trading partner in ASEAN, while the EU remains a benchmark market with the highest but most stable standards for Vietnamese exports.
On December 1 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Viet Nam-USA Society, and the “Two Sides Project” (2SP/USA) held a meeting between the children of Vietnamese martyrs and the families of American service members who were killed in action or went missing during the war in Viet Nam. On this occasion, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations presented Commemorative Medals and Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals of 2SP.
