General Secretary Lam and CPP President Hun Sen informed each other about the situation of each Party and country; exchanged views on regional and international developments, relations between the two Parties and countries, and issues of mutual concern. They also reviewed and assessed the results of bilateral cooperation, and agreed on key directions to further deepen the relationship.
On August 19 in Hanoi, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO) Phan Anh Son received the Brazil-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group led by its Chairman, Márcio Honaiser. Both sides affirmed the role of parliamentary diplomacy and people-to-people diplomacy in advancing the Vietnam-Brazil Strategic Partnership, while also putting forward a number of concrete cooperation proposals for the time ahead.
