Building on the foundation of friendship carefully nurtured by previous generations of leaders of the two countries, on the high-level common perceptions that have been established, on the determination of agencies, sectors and localities, and on the support of the people of both countries, Viet Nam–China relations will certainly continue to develop in a stable, healthy and long-term sustainable manner, bringing more tangible benefits to the two Parties, States and peoples, and making increasingly positive contributions to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.
With railway cooperation expected to emerge as a new highlight of bilateral strategic cooperation, China expressed readiness to collaborate with Viet Nam on financing, technology, training, and industrial capacity in the railway sector while encouraging capable enterprises to participate in railway construction.
On April 19, in Hung Yen, the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Meeting was held to commemorate the 65th anniversary of the Victory of Girón. The event was jointly organized by the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Viet Nam-Cuba Friendship Association, the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People’s Council, the Provincial People’s Committee, and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen Province.
