Affirming leadership prestige and a correct development path
In their congratulatory letters and messages, many international organizations and friends affirmed that the comprehensive achievements Viet Nam has attained in recent years are vivid evidence of the correctness of the leadership line of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.
Professor Trameaatar, President of the Mongolia-Viet Nam Friendship Association, highly valued the sound guidelines and policies, steadfast leadership, and major, remarkable achievements Viet Nam has recorded over recent decades, especially the successful implementation of Doi Moi, which has made important contributions to socio-economic development and national construction.
The All India Peace and Solidarity Organization (AIPSO) noted that the review of 40 years of Doi Moi, 35 years of implementing the Platform for National Construction, and five years of implementing the Resolution of the 13th Congress at the 14th Congress “has become convincing evidence of the correctness of the Party’s leadership, as well as the creative application of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought to Viet Nam’s reality.” AIPSO also highly appreciated Viet Nam’s achievements in sustainable socio-economic development, poverty reduction, progress in education and healthcare, and the continuous improvement of people’s living standards.
The Hungary - Viet Nam Friendship Association said it has always followed with admiration the remarkable socio-economic development achievements Viet Nam has made over the past 40 years thanks to Doi Moi. This economic reform has unleashed creativity and entrepreneurial spirit among the Vietnamese people, helping Viet Nam rise to prosperity and leading the whole country onto an unprecedented path of development.
The Australia-Viet Nam Friendship Association noted that through 40 years of Doi Moi and 35 years of national construction, Viet Nam has become a bright spot in the ASEAN community, with notable advances in development and integration.
Confidence that the 14th Congress will open a new development stage
The messages emphasized the particularly important significance of the 14th Congress in defining strategic goals, development orientations and Viet Nam’s long-term vision in the new period.
Nguyen Hai Nam, President of the France-Viet Nam Friendship Association, highly appreciated the comprehensive and strategically significant achievements Viet Nam attained during the past term, contributing to strengthening the country’s position, prestige and role in the international arena. He expressed confidence that the 14th Congress would bring into full play the highest sense of responsibility, intellect, unity and consensus, adopt strategic orientations and major decisions closely linked to national realities, and create new momentum and decisive breakthroughs for Viet Nam’s development over the next five years.
Fernando Gonzalez Llort, President of the Cuban Institute of Friendship with the Peoples (ICAP), affirmed that the 14th Congress is a historic event of particularly important significance for the Communist Party, the State and the people of Viet Nam, reviewing 40 years of Doi Moi and identifying new goals and tasks with a vision of strategic autonomy, safeguarding peace, independence and democracy, toward building a prosperous, powerful, civilized and happy country by 2045. He stressed that Cuba “always stands side by side and will continue to accompany Viet Nam.”
The Indonesia-Viet Nam Friendship Association highly appreciated the theme, orientations, key tasks and strategic breakthroughs of the 14th Congress, which reflect the determination to maintain peace and stability, promote rapid and sustainable development, foster innovation and human development, and strengthen national resilience and autonomy.
Affirming solidarity, support and promotion of people-to-people cooperation
In their congratulatory letters and messages, people’s organizations and international friends affirmed their commitment to continue accompanying Viet Nam and enhancing cooperation and people-to-people exchanges in the coming period.
ICAP and the Cuba-Viet Nam Friendship Association plan to organize seminars and exchanges to clarify the significance, outcomes and major orientations of the 14th Congress, thereby contributing to greater understanding and solidarity between the peoples of the two countries.
