Over nearly 20 years of living and working in Viet Nam, Jang Chin Hyuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of DK ENC Viet Nam Joint Stock Company, has actively engaged in charitable initiatives alongside his business endeavors. His contributions to various charity funds and programs have supported disadvantaged households, individuals affected by natural disasters and epidemics, as well as patients battling cancer and congenital heart disease. In recognition of his meaningful efforts, on June 18 in Hanoi, the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations held a ceremony to present him with the ‘For Peace and Friendship among Nations’ medal.

According to the report of DK ENC Viet Nam Joint Stock Company, in addition to its investment and business activities, which contribute to the development of the golf industry in Viet Nam, Jang Chin Hyuk actively participates in charity and social responsibility activities.

In 2021, he donated VND 500 million to the People's Committee of Chuong My District (Hanoi) to support the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, he continued to donate VND 100 million to the "Spring of Charity" program and sponsored gifts worth VND 100 million to poor households through the People's Committee of Hoang Van Thu Commune (Chuong My District, Hanoi). In 2024, after Typhoon Yagi made landfall, he participated in providing supplies, school desks and chairs, and necessities, donating VND 100 million to support people in hit areas.

He has also contributed to other funds and charitable activities such as the "Heart for Children" fund to support children with congenital heart disease, and sponsoring the organization of a golf tournament to raise funds for cancer patients named the K Hospital Charity Golf Tournament.

In educational development and cultural exchange activities, he sponsors 200 million VND/year for the Viet Nam- Korea Friendship Cultural Road Festival. In 2020, he sponsored VND 500 million for the Korean International School (2020) to support education and training for the younger generation.

In addition to charitable activities, Jang Chin Hyuk actively promotes diplomacy, economy and culture between RoK and Viet Nam. He participates in and supports business connection programs, supports cooperation negotiations, signs important cooperation agreements, and supports the organization of events and cultural exchange programs. Speaking at the awarding ceremony, President of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations Phan Anh Son spoke highly of the remarkable development of Viet Nam - RoK relations over the past 33 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations (December 22, 1992 - December 22, 2025). Viet Nam can refer to the economic development model and experience of RoK in the country's current development stage, he said.

According to Phan Anh Son, economic, trade, and investment cooperation is among key pillars of the bilateral relations. Beyond business endeavors, many Korean entrepreneurs actively engage in charitable work, making meaningful contributions to Viet Nam’s social welfare. Among them, businessman Jang Chin Hyuk has played a prominent role, supporting initiatives that assist poor households, disadvantaged children, and cancer patients.

Jang Chin Hyuk said that in nearly 20 years of living and working in Viet Nam, he has witnessed the country's impressive socio-economic development. As a result, Viet Nam becomes an increasingly attractive destination for Korean businesses and entrepreneurs.

Jang Chin Hyuk wishes to continue to maintain a harmonious cooperative relationship with Vietnamese partners, including the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations. He affirmed to continue to strive to fulfill his responsibility with the "For Peace and Friendship among Nations" medal and to further contribute to the bilateral relations.

The "For Peace and Friendship among Nations" Medal is the most noble award of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations to recognize the important contributions of foreign individuals to peace, solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the Vietnamese people and people of other countries.
