The exhibition marked the attendance of Member of Da Nang Party Committee’s Standing Board, Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh, Chinese Consul General in Da Nang City Xi Hui, President of Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Ngoc Binh along with leaders of departments, unions and people of Da Nang city.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, President of Da Nang Union of Friendship Organizations Nguyen Ngoc Binh said “Over past 70 years, although Vietnam-China ties have ups and downs, friendship and cooperation have been considered the main stream. The friendship which was laid the foundation by generations of the two countries’ leaders has become a valuable property of the two peoples, contributing to maintaining stable development and the Vietnam-China traditional relationship, bringing practical benefits to the two nations’ people.”
Chinese Consul General in Da Nang City Xi Hui said that the photo exhibition aims to introduce to Da Nang people about the development of Vietnam - China relations as well as review close friendship between the two sides.
35 photos categorized into four groups have been displayed at the exhibition. The first group features photos of high-level meetings between leaders of the two countries, the second is photos of the joint declarations, document exchanges, and cooperation agreements between the two sides, the third is pictures of cultural exchange and people-to-people ties, the fourth is pictures of cooperation on investment, economy, trade, science, and technology.
