Principle and Objectives:

- The Viet Nam - Indonesia Friendship Association (VIFA) is a social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities in the field of people-to-people diplomacy with Indonesia, voluntarily established, for the purpose of gathering, unite members, organize effective friendship and foreign relations activities between the people of Viet Nam and Indonesia.

- The purpose of the Association’s activities is to contribute to strengthening and expanding the traditional friendship and solidarity and understanding between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Indonesia; Consolidate and develop friendly relations and cooperation in economics, trade, science and technology, education and training, culture, sports, and tourism between Viet Nam and Indonesia because interests of the two peoples for peace, cooperation and development, contributing to the country's socio-economic development.

Main activities:

- Actively contribute to consolidating and strengthening solidarity and friendship, promoting cooperation and expanding exchanges with Indonesia;

- Promoting the role of bridge and connection between partners of the two countries, contributing to promoting cooperation, taking advantage of resources for economic and social development, and protecting national interests.

- Coordinating with Indonesia to organize activities on the occasion of Vietnamese Party and State leaders visiting Indonesia; Attending activities organized by the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia and the Indonesian Embassy in Viet Nam (friendship exchange activities, talks, conferences, seminars...)
