Mr. Dang Nhu Loi, IVFA Chairman, warmly welcomed the delegation’s visit, congratulated achievements recently attained by the two Associations, and expressed his wish to further strengthen Vietnam - Iran relations in the coming time.
Mr. Loi updated the delegates on Vietnam’s political, socio-economic situation in recent years and achievements gained in the process of national renovation and development. He also made introduction of potential fields for mutual cooperation.
According to Mr. Seyyed Kamal Sajadi, IVFA Chairman, the purpose of the visit is to have a comprehensive view of the country and people of Vietnam, and to discuss the directions of cooperation between the two Associations.
He expected the two countries enhance information exchange, mutual supports in international forums of peace and assistance in social, economic and trade fields.
The two sides expressed their satisfaction and appreciation at remarkable developments in the bilateral relations, affirmed the determination of leaders and people of the two countries to bring Vietnam - Iran relation to a new height. The two sides also agreed that the cooperation potentials between the two Associations is rich, but the imlementation of activities so far remained limited in size, quantity and diversity.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides reaffirmed the friendship and cooperation between the two Associations and the people of the two countries, and shared their expectation of a more comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Iran in the future.
