Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga said that the relations between Vietnam and South Africa have constantly been consolidated and developed. Recently, many local delegations from South Africa have come to Vietnam. The Vietnamese people have good feelings for the South African people and the revolution for freedom.

VUFO's cooperation with South Africa is mainly conducted through the Embassy of South Africa in Vietnam and multilateral organizations such as the Vietnam Committee for Solidarity and Cooperation in Asia-Africa-Latin America. In the future, the two countries can strengthen the exchange of local delegations, students, and young female leaders. The two have the potential to exchange experiences in areas such as eliminating the development gap between rural and urban areas and strengthening gender equality. VUFO expresses its willingness to connect the delegation with partners and localities in Vietnam.

The two countries have many similarities in history, political background, development environment, and have gone through a difficult period of struggle to enter today's development era. As one of the 71 countries invited to the upcoming BRICS Summit, Vietnam is part of the group's joint development efforts.

According to Refilwe Mtsweni-Tsipane, South Africa and Vietnam have made great efforts and achieved certain successes in enhancing the role of women. In the coming time, the two sides can promote cooperation and exchange female cadres to share experiences in foreign affairs and agriculture.
