“Vietnam and Palestine share many similarities in undergoing arduous wars.During the struggle for national independence, reunification and the cause of national construction, Vietnam has received much support and assistance from friends in all over the world. To conserve this precious heritage is a noble task assigned to VUFO by the Party and State of Vietnam”, Hong said at VUFO headquarters in Hanoi.
Mr.Jibril Rajoub, Standing Deputy Secretary of Fatah’s Central Committee’s General Secretariat, President of the Palestine’s Football Association, who heads the delegation thanked for the support to Palestine extended by the Vietnamese people and expected this visit to contribute to further strengthening and expanding friendly exchange and cooperation between the two countries’ peoples.
Mr. Rajoub highly appreciated the importance of people-to-people diplomacy that has been implemented by VUFO. He also invited VUFO and the Vietnam Committee for Solidarity with Palestinian People to visit his country in future.
