Climate of VietNam

(Vietnam.vn) Annual average rainfall in Hanoi is 1,763 mm; in Huế, 2,867 mm; in Ho Chi Minh City, 1,910 mm. Average humidity is over 80%, even 90% in the rainy season and during the drizzly season. Vietnam has four main climatic regions: the Northern climate, the Southern climate, the Central and the Southern Central climate and the South China Sea climate. The Northern climatic region comprises the northern territory of the Hoành Sơn mountain range. This region has the tropical monsoon with four clear-cut seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter.
