Vietnamese and Chinese youths offer ideas for Party building, startups and innovation

As part of the 24th Viet Nam-China Youth Friendship Meeting in 2025, on the morning of April 13, youth delegations from both countries engaged in three seminars to offer ideas and recommendations on key topics: Party building, entrepreneurship, and advancements in technology and innovation.

During the seminar to contribute initiatives on party building, Vietnamese and Chinese youth delegates engaged in discussions and exchanges on topics related to grassroots organizations of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Communist Youth League of China. They explored the role of the organizations in both countries in contributing to party-building initiatives.

Participants shared insights and introduced successful models and effective strategies for enhancing the quality of grassroots youth union organizations and their involvement in Party building. Notable examples included the "3 Proactive of Grassroot Youth Union" model of the youth union of Long Bien District (Hanoi), which emphasizes proactive idea contribution to Party committees and authorities, proactive organization of activities, and proactive participation in building a robust youth union structure.

Other approaches discussed included the rotation and mobilization of cadres for practical training at local levels, along with a digital transformation model implemented within the grassroots youth union organizations of the Communist Youth League of China.

At the seminar "Uniting and Gathering Young Intellectuals Affairs", delegates from the two countries said that young talents must become the "pillars" of scientific and technological innovation. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen ideological guidance, build a firm foundation of mindset, and strong belief in revolutionary qualities for young intellectuals.

In addition, it is necessary to increase awards, scholarships, and funds for developing young talents, and expand the scope of rewards and honors so that many young people in various fields are recognized and encouraged.

At the seminar titled "Vietnamese and Chinese Youth Share Opportunities and Challenges in Technology and Innovation Startups," youth delegates from both nations highlighted the vision of a Vietnamese-Chinese startup community. This initiative serves as a foundation for focusing on strategic pillars of cooperation, including technology, investment, human resource exchange, and market integration. These efforts aim to strengthen the deep friendship between the two countries while fostering a dynamic, bold, and pioneering generation of Vietnamese and Chinese youth equipped to thrive in the digital era.

Earlier, as part of the 24th Viet Nam-China Youth Friendship Meeting in 2025, 87 Chinese youth delegates paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum.

They also immersed themselves in local culture by experiencing a traditional rural market and enjoying "The Quintessence of the North," a captivating live performance in Sai Son commune, Quoc Oai district, Hanoi.

With the theme "Vietnamese - Chinese Youth: Firmly upholding ideals", the program has the participation of 100 Chinese youth delegates, lasting from April 13 to 18 in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh. The activity, organized alternately by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League of China since 2000, is entering its 24th implementation.
