"Greetings of solidarity" Book debuted

(Vietpeace) The Vietnam - Netherlands Friendship and Cooperation Association (VNFCA) in collaboration with Nuffic Nesco Vietnam debuted the book “Greetings of solidarity”, written by Peter de Goeje, on the occasion of 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands on October 30th in Hanoi


Attending the book debut were Prof. Dao Xuan Hoc, former Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, VNFCA Chairman; Prof .Phan Huy Le, Chairman of the Vietnamese Association of Historical Sciences; Ass. Prof Nguyen Van Kim, Vice Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities; Mr Huynh Minh Chinh, former Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands; representatives from the University of Agriculture, the Vietnam Forestry University, the Hanoi University of Science and Technology; and VNFCA members.

Ms Kenza Tarqaat, Second Secretary of the Dutch Embassy in Vietnam; Mr Peter de Goeje, member of the Science and Technology Committee for Vietnam, the author of the book; representatives from Dutch Embassy, Dutch organisations and companies in Vietnam were also present.

The development of the Science and Technology Committee from 1971 so far, humanitarian projects and touching stories of Dutch friends, who wholeheatedly supported Vietnam, were introduced in the book.

The book preamble was written by Prof. Phan Huy Le, a historian who had for many years attached himself to scientific and educational cooperation programmes between Vietnam and the Netherlands. 

Mr Peter de Goeje and Prof. Phan Huy Le had an interesting talk with with the participants about the book content. And the Dutch and Vietnamese participants had time to revise their unforgettable memories during the time working and studying in Vietnam and the Netherlands.
