Principle and Objectives:

- Viet Nam - Belarus Friendship Association is a voluntarily-established social organization, aiming at gathering and uniting Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities on people-to-people external relations with Belarus, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of its members, mutually supporting one another for efficient operations, which contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

- The Association endeavors to enhance and expand the traditional solidarity, friendly cooperative relations and the mutual understanding between the peoples of Viet Nam and Belarus; to leverage the sympathy and support of the Belarusian people for the cause of national construction and defense of the Vietnamese people; to consolidate and develop the multifaceted cooperation between the peoples of the two countries, for peace, cooperation and development.

Main activities:

- Organizing annual activities to commemorate major holidays and important events of Viet Nam - Belarus relations.

- Coordinating delegation exchange initiatives between Viet Nam and Belarus.

- Organizing events to exchange information on the situation of the two countries' relations in various fields, with a focus on promoting people-to-people exchanges between the Association and domestic and foreign partners.

- Promoting cooperation in economics, trade, culture, education, and tourism between the organizations, businesses, and universities of Belarus and Vietnamese partners.
