Principle and Objectives:

- Viet Nam - Bulgaria Friendship Association is a voluntarily-established social organization with the purpose of gathering and uniting members, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members, supporting each other, which contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

- The Association endeavors to strengthen and expand the relations of solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding between the peoples of Viet Nam and Bulgaria; to leverage the sympathy and support of the Bulgaria people for the cause of construction and defense of the Vietnamese people, to consolidate and develop the multifaceted relations between the two peoples, for peace, cooperation and development.

Main activities:

- Organizing activities to celebrate major holidays of the two countries and important events in the relationship between Viet Nam and Bulgaria.

- Organizing delegations to visit and work with partners in Bulgaria; coordinating program, activities for the Bulgaria delegations visiting Viet Nam.

- Organizing events to exchange information on the situation of the two countries' relations in various fields, with a focus on promoting people-to-people exchanges between the Association and domestic and foreign partners.

- Promoting cooperation in economics, trade, culture, education, and tourism between the organizations, businesses, and universities of Bulgaria and Vietnamese partners.
