Principle and Objectives:

The Viet Nam - Canada Friendship Association (VCFA) is a social organization, a member of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations. VCFA was founded May 15, 1999 as a bilateral friendship organization of the Vietnamese people with people from Canada. VCFA has been constantly pursuing its goal and mission, i.e., the strengthening of mutual understanding, friendship and cooperation between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Canada.

Main activities:

Viet Nam - Canada Friendship Association is conducting the following activities:

- Acting as a bridge for exchanges and cooperation in economics, science, technology, education, culture and society between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Canada.

- Acting as a bridge between Canadian organizations, institutions, agencies, companies and their Vietnamese counterparts by providing necessary information and consultancy.

- Organizing and facilitating tours for studying and culture, visits for trade promotion and other kinds of trips to Viet Nam for Canadian people and to Canada for the Vietnamese people in order to strengthen solidarity, friendship and cooperation between the people of two countries.

- Organizing activities of seminars, conferences, symposia, dialogues, briefings, presentations, lectures for/by culture, politic, society for mutual understanding./.
