Principles and operating purposes:
The Viet Nam - Chile Friendship and Cooperation Association is a social organization comprised of Vietnamese citizens and organizations engaged or interested in activities in the field of people-to-people diplomacy with Chile, voluntarily established for the purpose of gathering, uniting members and organizing effectively diplomatic activities between the people of Viet Nam and the people Chile.
The purpose of the Association's activities is to contribute to strengthening and expanding relations of solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Chile; garner sympathy and support of the Chilean people for the Vietnamese people's cause of building and defending the Fatherland; consolidate and develop multi-faceted cooperative relations between Viet Nam and Chile for the benefit of the two peoples, for peace, cooperation and development, contributing to the country's socio-economic development.
