Principle and Objectives:

- Viet Nam - Denmark Friendship Association (VIDAFA) is a volutarily-established social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities on people-to-people relations with Denmark.

- The Association endeavors to gather and unite members, to organize effective Viet Nam - Denmark people-to-people activities in order to enhance and expand solidarity, traditional friendship and mutual understanding between the peoples of Viet Nam and Denmark; to leverage sympathy and support of Danish people for the cause of national construction and defense of Vietnamese people; to consolidate and develop cooperation on economics, trade, science, technology, education,  training, culture, sports, tourism between Viet Nam and Denmark for the benefit of the peoples of both countries, for peace, cooperation and development.

Main activities:

- Organizing annual activities to commemorate major holidays and important events of Viet Nam - Denmark relations: Establishment Day of Diplomatic Relations (organizing annual painting competition for children “Denmark in your eyes”).

- Organizing roundtables, workshops, information exchanges with topics of politics, society, culture, science, education, etc...

- Organizing activities to connect and promote cultural and economic exchanges between organizations and enterprises of Viet Nam and Denmark.

- Coordinating delegation exchanges between Viet Nam and Denmark.

- Mobilizing Dannish partners to participate in charity and humatarian activities in Viet Nam.
