Principle and Objectives:

- The Viet Nam - France Friendship and Cooperation Association (AACVF) is a voluntarily-established social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities in the field of people-to-people relations with France.

- The Association is aimed at gathering and uniting, protecting the rights and legitimate interests of its members and organizing effective people-to-people exchange activities between the Vietnamese and French people. It endeavors to enhance and expand the relations of traditional solidarity, friendship and mutual understanding between the Vietnamese and French people; to leverage the sympathy and support of French people for the cause of national construction and defense of Vietnamese people; to consolidate and develop the bilateral cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the people of both countries, for peace, cooperation and development, contributing to the socio-economic development.

Main activities:

- Organizing annual activities to commemorate major holidays and important events of both countries, to celebrate the establishment day of Viet Nam – France Diplomatic Relations.

- Organizing delegations to visit and work with partners in France; coordinating program, activities for the French delegations visiting Viet Nam.

- Coordinating with partners to organize people-to-people activities such as: cultural exchanges, exhibitions, books/poems translation, round-table talks, friendship meetings, conferences, forums in order to enhance mutual understanding, to connect and foster effective cooperation between the peoples of Viet Nam and France in economics, trade, culture, arts, education, health, etc.

- Carrying out external information activities: actively and often post information, video clip covering the Association’s activities on media and social networks; publishing bilingual Vietnamese – French books/ magazines, etc.

- Carrying out external information work: actively propagate the Association's activities on media and social networks; Organizing the publication of Vietnamese - French bilingual publications...

- Leveraging the participation of French people and organizations in activities or projects to improve livelihoods, provide educational assistance to students with disabilities or in difficult circumstances, to implement humanitarian programs for the victims of Agent Orange in Viet Nam.
