Principle and Objectives:

- Viet Nam - Slovakia Friendship Association is a voluntarily-established social organization with the purpose of gathering and uniting members, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of its members, supporting each other, which contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.

- The Association endeavors to strengthen and expand the relations of solidarity, friendship and the mutual understanding between the peoples of Viet Nam and Slovakia; to leverage the sympathy and support of the Slovak people for the cause of construction and defense of the Vietnamese people; to consolidate and develop the multifaceted relations between the two peoples, for peace, cooperation and development.

Main activities:

- Organizing activities to celebrate major holidays of the two countries and important events in the relationship between Viet Nam and Slovakia.

- Organizing delegations to visit and work with partners in Slovakia; coordinating program, activities for the Slovak delegations visiting Viet Nam.

- Organizing events to exchange information on the situation of the two countries' relations in various fields, with a focus on promoting people-to-people exchanges between the Association and domestic and foreign partners.

- Promoting cooperation in economics, trade, culture, education, and tourism between the organizations, businesses, and universities of Slovakia and Vietnamese partners.
