Principle and Objectives:

- The Viet Nam – Sweden Friendship Association is a social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to people-to-people diplomacy with Sweden. It was established voluntarily to gather and unite its members, protect their legitimate rights and interests, and support each other in effective activities;

- The purpose of the association is to strengthen solidarity and friendship between the peoples of Viet Nam and Sweden, acting as a bridge to promote cooperation and exchanges in the fields of economy, trade, culture, arts, education, technology, communication, tourism, and sports between Viet Nam and Sweden, contributing to the construction and protection of the nation.

- Organizing friendship exchange events on the occasion of major national holidays of Viet Nam and Sweden;

- Supporting Party’s foreign affairs and State’s diplomacy, organizing activities that contribute to strengthening the Viet Nam-Sweden friendship, unity, and cooperation;

- Organizing public diplomacy activities to introduce information about Viet Nam to the Swedish people, enhancing understanding of Viet Nam's history, people, culture, and achievements in national construction./.
