Principle and Objectives:
- Viet Nam - Armenia Friendship Association (VAFA) is a social organization, operating in accordance with the Association's Charter, the Charter of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and the Law of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
- The Association endeavors to enhance and expand traditional solidarity, friendly cooperative relations and mutual understanding between the peoples of Viet Nam and Armenia; to leverage sympathy and support of the Armenian people for the cause of national construction and defense of the Vietnamese people; to consolidate and develop multifaceted cooperation on economics, trade, science-technology, education-training, culture, sports, tourism, etc. between the peoples of the Viet Nam and Armenia.

Main activities:
- Organizing annual activities to commemorate major holidays and important events of Viet Nam - Armenia relations: Establishment Day of Diplomatic Relations (July 14th), Independence Day of Armenia (September 21st), National Day of Viet Nam (September 2nd).
- Coordinating delegation exchanges between Viet Nam and Armenia.
- Supporting Party’s foreign affairs and State’s diplomacy to promote friendship, solidarity, and collaboration between Viet Nam and Armenia.
- Organizing external communication activities to introduce Viet Nam to friends, partners, and young generation of Armenia with a view to foster mutual understanding between the two nations and peoples.
- Promoting cooperation in economics, trade, investment, culture, education, and tourism between organizations, businesses, and universities of Armenia and Vietnamese partners.
