Principles and Objectives:

- The Viet Nam Peace and Development Foundation (VPDF) is a Vietnamese non-profit organization working on peace and development fields.

- The purpose of the VPDF is to contribute to peace, national independence, democracy, social progress, and equitable, sustainable development.

Partners:

1. Domestic partners: Hanoi Law University, Vietthink Law Firm & Intellectual Property Agent, Viet Nam External Relation Information Joint Stock Company (VRI).

2. International partners: Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung, UNDP, ActionAid International, International Peace Bureau, Asia Europe People’s Forum (AEPF) Stop the War Coalition Philippines, Indian AEPF Committee, Peace Boat, etc.

Main activities:

- Conducting research and exchanging information on peace, security, development, and law; Providing recommendations and advice to relevant Vietnamese organizations and agencies based on this research.

- Collaborating with local and international partners to organize or participate in people-to-people diplomacy activities for peace and development; Engaging in multilateral mechanisms and international forums consistent with the VPDF’s principles and objectives.

- Disseminating information to international friends and partners about the policies and perspectives of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese government, promoting a positive image of the nation and its people, and highlighting Vietnam’s development achievements through publications and the VPDF website.
