Principle and Objectives:

Viet Nam - Sri Lanka Friendship Association is a social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities in the field of people-to-people diplomacy with Sri Lanka. The Association was voluntarily established, with the aim of gathering and uniting members, organizing effective activities, contributing to strengthening and expanding the traditional friendship, solidarity and understanding between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Sri Lanka. The Association consolidate and develop friendly relations and cooperation in economics, trade, science and technology, education and training, culture, sports and tourism between Viet Nam and Sri Lanka for the benefit of the people each country; for peace, cooperation and development, all in contribution to our country's socio-economic development.

Sri Lanka - Viet Nam Solidarity Association

Main activities:

- Organizing commemorative meetings on the occasion of major holidays of Viet Nam and Sri Lanka.

- Organizing the exchange of information, documents, books and newspapers between the Association and domestic and foreign partners.

- Organizing delegations to visit and work in other countries, form art troupes to perform in Sri Lanka.

- Welcoming delegations of partners.

- Coordinating with partners to organize discussions and seminars on political, cultural, economic, scientific and educational topics.

- Acting as a bridge to promote cultural and economic exchanges between Sri Lankan organizations and companies with members of the Association and Vietnamese organizations and businesses.
