Principle and Objectives:

- The Viet Nam - Algeria Friendship Association is a social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities in the field of people-to-people diplomacy with Algeria, and was voluntarily established for the purpose of gathering and uniting members and organizing effective foreign affairs activities of the Vietnamese and Algerian people.

- The purpose of the Association’s activities is to contribute to strengthening and expanding relations of solidarity, friendship, and mutual understanding between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Algeria; harness the sympathy and support of the Algerian people for the Vietnamese people's cause of building and defending the Fatherland; Participate as a bridge to contribute to promoting the development of multi-faceted cooperative relationships in the fields of economics, trade, science and technology, education and training, culture, sports, tourism, society between the Vietnamese people and the Algerian people for peace, cooperation and development.

- Organizing local visits for the Algerian Ambassador

- Maintaining relationships, exchanging information and congratulatory messages with the Algerian embassy in Hanoi
