Principle and Objectives:
Viet Nam - Australia Friendship Association is a social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities in the field of people-to-people diplomacy with Australia. It gathers members to organize effective diplomatic activities between the people of Viet Nam and Australia.
The purpose of the Association is to contribute to strengthening understanding between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Australia, consolidating and developing the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries, for peace, cooperation and development in the region and the world, contributing to our country's socio-economic development.

Main activities:
The Association regularly organizes major commemorative activities of the two countries such as: Establishing diplomatic relations (February 26, 1973); coordinating with the Australian Embassy and the Friendship Associations to organize intimate meetings between alumni and Australians working in Viet Nam; Participating in other commemorative activities organized by the Embassy; helping Vietnamese units and organizations establish relations with Australia; assisting with materials for writing books about Viet Nam; helping Vietnamese students go to Australia to study English; helping Australians come to learn Vietnamese and the nation of Viet Nam; welcoming friendly delegations to work and study in Viet Nam.
