Principle and Objectives:

Viet Nam - Iran Friendship Association (VIFA) is a social organization, a member of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, operating on the principles of financial autonomy and self-responsibility. Responsible before the law, comply with the Charter of the Association, the Charter of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and comply with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

The purpose of the Association is to strengthen understanding between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Iran, strengthen and develop friendly relations and economic cooperation, trade, science and technology, education and training, culture, sports, tourism... between Viet Nam and Iran for the benefit of people of the two countries, for peace, cooperation and development.

Main activities:

- Organizing commemorative meetings on the occasion of major holidays of Viet Nam and Iran.

- Organizing the exchange of information, documents, books and newspapers between the Association and domestic and foreign partners.

- Organizing delegations to visit and work in other countries, and art troupes to perform in Iran.

- Welcoming partners’ delegations; Organizing thematic tour groups.

- Organizing and coordinating with partners to organize discussions and seminars on political, cultural, economic, scientific and educational topics.

- Acting as a bridge to promote cultural and economic exchanges between Iranian organizations with Association’s member organizations as well as other Vietnamese organizations and businesses.
