Principle and Objectives:

Viet Nam - Nepal Friendship Association is a social organization of Vietnamese citizens and organizations interested in or related to activities in the field of people-to-people diplomacy with Nepal. The Association was voluntarily established with the aim of gathering and uniting members and organizing people-to-people activities to build increasingly better friendly relations between Viet Nam and Nepal.

The purpose of the Association is to contribute to strengthening the friendship, understanding and cooperation between the people of Viet Nam and the people of Nepal; Act as a bridge to enhance and promote cooperative activities in the fields of politics, economics - trade, culture, tourism, belief, religion, etc. according to the provisions of Vietnamese and Nepal law.

Main activities:

- Organizing commemorative meetings on the occasion of major holidays of Viet Nam and Nepal.

- Organizing the exchange of information, documents, books and newspapers between the Association and domestic and foreign partners.

- Organizing delegations to visit and work in Nepal; forming art troupes to perform in Nepal.

- Welcoming partners’ delegations; Organizing thematic tour groups.

- Coordinating with partners to organize discussions and seminars on political, cultural, economic, scientific and educational topics.

- Acting as a bridge to promote cultural, economic, and religious exchanges between Nepali organizations and companies with members of the Association and Vietnamese organizations and businesses.
