Principle and Objectives:

The Viet Nam - Iraq Friendship Association is a social organization, a member of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations, operating on the principles of financial autonomy and self-responsibility. Responsible before the law, comply with the Charter of the Association, the Charter of the Viet Nam Union of Friendship Organizations and comply with the laws of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.

The purpose of the Association is to strengthen cooperation and friendship  the people of Viet Nam and the people of Iraq, taking advantage of the support of Iraqi people to the cause of national building and development.

Main activities:

- Celebrating major holidays of Iraq such as National Day July 17, 1968; exchanging visits; sharing information and experience; organizing film talks about Iraq; organizing exchanges and meetings with people who have worked in Iraq.
