(Vietpeace) The Hai Phong People’s Aid Coordinating Committee in collaboration with the city’s Department of Foreign Affairs held a ceremony on July 1st, 2014 to distribute over 550 wheelchairs to the local poor and disabled people.

This is part of the efficient practices of Hai Phong municipal authority to provide moving devices, donated by Free Wheelchair Mission through Giving It Back To Kids, to the poor and disabled people to help ease difficulties in their work and study and stimulate efforts in integrating and striving for a better life.

Donors, leaders of PACCOM under VUFO; leaders of Hai Phong City, departments, districts and representatives of Hai Phong’s people with disabilities attended the ceremony held at Hai An district.

The wheelchairs will later be distributed to those with disadvantage in Hai Phong’s districts of Le Chan, Hai An, Do Son, Ngo Quyen, Kien Thuy, Tien Lang as well as to the Hai Phong Association for the Support of Vietnamese Handicapped and Orphans (ASVHO) and the Hai Phong Fund for Vietnamese Children and Charity Organization./.
