The meeting took place in Hanoi on May 12, during which Eva Maria Jongen introduced her successor. She took this occasion to thank VUFO and PACCOM for their companionship and hope that they continue to support BftW in completing administrative procedures for its upcoming projects.

VUFO Vice President and General Secretary Phan Anh Son appreciated Jongen's contribution. During her 8 years working in Vietnam, Jongen has connected BftW with partners in Vietnam to implement projects to support the community.

Phan Anh Son congratulated Peters Barisic Frauke, who is expected to be BftW's new chief representative in Vietnam. He said that VUFO and PACCOM would continue to support BftW in its upcoming activities.

BftW is an international relief and development organization of German Protestant churches. Its working areas range from food security, health, education, access to clean water, to the promotion of human rights. During 25 years of operation in Vietnam, BftW has implemented 450 projects in poverty eradication, livelihood improvement, sustainable agricultural development, and environmental protection. Through the organization's numerous missions, it has supported about 5 million beneficiaries.
