VUFO’s President receives Rev. Bill Hybels

(Vietpeace) Mr. Vu Xuan Hong, President of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO), received Rev. Bill Hybels, senior pastor of Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington, Illinois, Chairman of Board for Willow Creek Association (WCA) and Mr. Gary Schwammlein, WCA’s Executive Vice President, at VUFO’s headquarters on May 21st.

At the reception, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong welcomed Rev. Bill Hybels’ working visit to Vietnam. Rev. Bill Hybels was provided with information about the current situations on economics, politics, education and health care of Vietnam, about the fine development of  bilarteral realtions between Vietnam and the United States of America in recent years.

Rev. Bill Hybels expressed his honor to be welcomed at VUFO’s headquarters. He also learned and exchanged views on management training, leadership and religious activities in Vietnam. He hoped to have more opportunities for the enhancement of mutual understanding and cooperation, in order to strengthen the relations between the peoples of two countries in the future./.
