RoK Ambassador to Vietnam awarded “For Peace and Friendship Among Nations” medal

(Vietpeace), Mr. Ha Chan Ho, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea (RoK), on May 29th in Hanoi, was awarded “For Peace and Friendship among Nations” medal of the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO).


Present at the ceremony were Mr. Vu Xuan Hong, VUFO’s President; RoK Ambassador to VietNam, Mr. Ha Chan Ho; Mr. Pham Tien Van, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam – Korea Friendship Association; staff of RoK Embassy in Hanoi;  representatives from VUFO’s departments; correspondents from central and local media agencies...

At the ceremony, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong highly appreciated  Ambassador Ha Chan Ho’s significant contributions to the development of friendship and cooperation relations between RoK and Vietnam. The noble medal was a reward for his efforts and achievements in his working term in Vietnam, Mr. Vu Xuan Hong said. During his two-year working term in Vietnam, Ambassador Ha Chan Ho has actively made contributions towards enhancing economic ties between RoK and Vietnam. In addition, the Ambassador has also worked hard to promote activities between the two countries in such fields as cultural exchange, education, people-to-people exchange…

President Vu Xuan Hong emphasized that the friendship and cooperation relations between Vietnam and RoK, in the last 20 years, have developed quickly, deeply and comprehensively in all fields. He believed that the bilateral relations between the two countries will further develop in the future.

Ambassador Ha Chan Ho expressed his honor and sincere thanks to VUFO for the noble medal. During his working time in Vietnam, he has deeply felt the friendship between the peoples of the two countries. He affirmed that he will, in any of his positions, continue contributing to the friendship and cooperation relations between RoK and Vietnam./.
