Attending the meeting were Mr Nguyen Dang Vang, VFHA’s Chairman; Mrs. Torda Eszter, Hugarian Ambassador to Vietnam; representatives of VUFO; members of VFHA’s Excutive Board; representatives from relevant agencies, media agencies in Hanoi; and VFFA’s members.
Addressing the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dang Vang highlighted the great achievements of the two countries in all fields, and the development of traditional friendship relations between the two peoples during more than half a century.
The Chairman appreciated the great supports of the Hungarian Government and people for Vietnam in the struggle for national independence as well as in the building of the country.
He hoped that the two countries will together organize many practical activities in contribution to deepening the friendship relations between Vietnam and Hungary in the future.
Ambassador Torda Eszter expressed her honored to attend such a meaningful meeting to celebrate the National Days of the Republic of Hungary and the Socialist of Republic of Vietnam.
“This is the great chance for those who have love with Hungary to review their memories, years of living, working and learning in Hungary”, she said.
She appreciated VHFA’s contribution to the good relations between the two countries, and believed that VHFA is actually a bridge of friendship, contributes to tightening the friendship and solidarity between the two peoples.
Also at the meeting, Vice Chairman cum General Secretary of VHFA Nguyen Viet Son presented VHFA’s report on operations from August 2012 to July 2013.
Last year, VHFA organized many activities in contribution to the development of traditional friendship relations and cooperation between the two countries.
In the coming years, VHFA will continue to maintain and uphold the role as a bridge of friendship, promote ativities in cooperation and culture exchanges, science, education and training, trade… between the two countries./.
