The meeting saw the presence of Mr. Khamsene Phommaseng, Consul General of Lao People’s Democratic Republic; Ms Gabdieva Anna, Vice Consul of the Russian Consulate General; representatives from foreign companies and non-governmental organizations, international friends and representatives from the municipal departments, agencies, and socio - political organizations in Da Nang.
Addressing at the meeting, DAFO President Huynh Duc Truong reviewed the glorious journey in the history of national liberation, unification and construction of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Under the consistent foreign policy of “independence, self-reliance, peace, cooperation and development; multilateralization and diversification of relations, active and proactive international integration”, the image of Viet Nam in the world is significantly hightening and expanding, he affirmed.
He also expressed appreciation for the contributions of international friends to the development of Da Nang city in recent years and expected that the cooperation is further strengthened in the coming time.
On behalf of the participants, Ms. Gabdieva Anna and Mr. Bertrand Courné - teacher of the French Department of the Danang University of Foreign Languages expressed sincere thanks to the DAFO for such a meaningful meeting and hoped that the friendship and cooperation relation between the two sides will increasingly be tightened and bring more efficency./.
