Operation Smile to continue bringing smiles

On June 17th, the University Medical Center (UMC) in Ho Chi Minh city cooperate with non-Governmental Organization Operation Smile Vietnam to continue bringing smiles to the face of those children born with facial deformities.



Medical mission to Ho Chi Minh city is intended to accomplished at the UMC Ho Chi Minh city with 100 patients received health care evaluations and life-changing surgeries.
 
Cleft lips and cleft palate are birth defects that negatively affects aestheticism and life quality standard. In Vietnam, it is estimated one in every 500 births is a malformed child who may suffer from complex and isolation.

On June 17th, the University Medical Center in Ho Chi Minh cooperate with Operation Smile Vietnam with 90 - 100 patients received health care evaluations and life-changing surgeries.    Beneficiaries are patients from 2 months to 20 years.

Charitable program will be implemented at the University Hospital of the University Medical Center addressing at No.215 Hồng Bàng Street, District 5, HCM city.
